WHAT IS Regulation & Information Security?

IT has long been an integral part of our modern world and digitalization. As a result, the risks within our customers’ IT systems are also increasing. In addition, our customers in the banking and insurance sector are increasingly exposed to a wide variety of regulatory requirements.

We are therefore combining two essential teams in our Regulatory & Information Security division: IT & Information Security and Regulatory Solutions.


In the IT & Information Security focus area, we pursue the goal of

to close security gaps and prevent risks by drawing up comprehensive action plans, introducing IT security tools and optimizing efficiency and process quality.

The Regulatory Solutions focus area deals with banking regulation and amended regulations, which can range from conceptualization to concrete implementation proposals for the bank-specific software landscape.

Mapping of regulatory requirements

As a reporting expert, you will deal with the entire range of regulatory requirements, such as capital adequacy, statistical balance sheet reporting, liquidity reporting, deposit protection or resolution reporting & planning. To this end, you will perfectly contribute your specialist knowledge and technical skills and always keep an eye on the interdependencies of the messages.

Analytical solutions and bank control architecture

Within the scope of our focus topic, you will deal with the conception and implementation of the resulting data requirements for the analytical software solutions on the basis of a standardized data model.

You will work with established standard solutions from companies such as SAP, Regnology, msg for banking or Wolters Kluwer as well as with ADWEKO’s own solutions such as our SAP FSDM universal adapter, specific support tools and robot processes.

Reporting of the future

Set the course for a future-proof system landscape for our customers.

In the future vision of regulators and reporters, streamlining and improving reporting processes on both sides to improved analytics and performance play an important role. These are reflected in the supervisory requirements from IReF, BIRD, and PRISMA.
