Collection and processing of data, possibly personal data

Each time a user accesses www.adweko.com and every time a file is retrieved, data about this process is stored in a log file. The storage serves exclusively internal system-related and statistical purposes. In detail, the following data record is stored for each retrieval:

  • Name of the retrieved file
  • Date and time of retrieval
  • data volume transferred
  • Message whether the retrieval was successful
  • Description of the type of web browser used
  • requesting domain.

Additional personal information such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address is not collected unless you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. in the context of a registration or a request for information.

Use and disclosure of personal data

Insofar as you have provided us with personal data, we use this exclusively for the purpose of the technical administration of our web pages and for the fulfilment of your wishes and requirements, i.e. as a rule to answer your enquiry. To display social media content on our website, we use the service Flockler, Flockler Oy Rautatienkatu 26 B 32, 33100, Tampere Finland, which aggregates relevant social media channels and displays them on our website (“social media wall”, in this case a collection of different posts from the social media channels of ADWEKO Consulting GmbH).

By interacting with the respective content, a connection to the Flockler servers is established. Flockler also obtains your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to the respective social media provider or do not have an account with them. The websites you visit are linked to your social media account and made known to other users. Data is also transmitted to the social media provider. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by the social media provider. The Flockler plugin is used on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the widest possible visibility in social media.

Google Analytics

If you have given your consent, Google Analytics 4, a web analysis service of Google LLC, is used on this website. The controller for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).

Scope of processing

Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information collected by cookies about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

In Google Analytics 4, the anonymization of IP addresses is activated by default. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your pseudonymous use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. The reports provided by Google Analytics are used to analyze the performance of our website.

Third country transfer

The parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, is based in California, USA. A transfer of data to the USA and access by US authorities to the data stored by Google cannot be ruled out. The USA is currently considered a third country from a data protection perspective. You do not have the same rights there as within the EU/EEA. You may not be entitled to any legal remedies against access by the authorities. EU standard contractual clauses have been concluded between Google Ireland (as data exporter) and Google LLC (as data importer) to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

Storage duration

The data sent by us and linked to cookies is automatically deleted after 2 months. Data that has reached the end of its retention period is automatically deleted once a month.

Legal basis

The legal basis for this data processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

Revocation

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings and changing your selection there. The lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation remains unaffected.
